Singapore [children's essay]

Singapore

The cleanest country in South East Asia

During the school holidays, my family and I went to Malaysia and Singapore for holidays. It was a lot of fun for all of us because we could do many things during our stay there. We took a walk, played games, visited interesting places and did many other things.

Singapore is a city which is very clean and well arranged. Take a look at the photograph which I took when I was in Singapore. The photograph shows many people walking in a very crowded shopping centre. The place is called “Orchard Road”. It is the most crowded shopping area in Singapore. Most people in Singapore walk and they must cross the street on the zebra cross or overhead bridge. When they cross the street, they have to look at the traffic light. This traffic light helps them when to cross the street and when they can not cross it. People are discipline and obedient. The policemen are strict and uphold the laws. I took this picture because I love Singapore which is very well arranged and clean. I hope Makassar can be as clean and well arranged as Singapore.
